Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking an Environmental Engineer to lead the environmental programs across air, water, waste, and sustainability at our Tualatin site.

You will drive regulatory compliance, manage permits, and support our ISO14001 initiatives while partnering with Lab Operations and other groups to minimize environmental impact and enable safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–12 years of EHS experience, preferably in semiconductors.
• Experience with wastewater treatment, air emissions, and waste management permits.
• Knowledge of Federal and Oregon environmental regulations.
• Ability to perform abatement efficiency and release calculations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage environmental programs for air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, and waste.
• Obtain and maintain environmental permits and compliance plans.
• Prepare permit renewals, reports, and regulatory submittals.
• Manage inspections, community outreach, and stakeholder notifications.
• Support ISO14001 certification and continuous improvement of the EHS system.
