Job summary

The Seattle-area Consulting Senior Associate will implement effective EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related science OR equivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education).
• 1+ year of relevant experience in EHS compliance i.e., stormwater, behavior-based safety, etc.
• Ability to travel across the Puget Sound area including occasional overnight stays and/or daily client site visits based on business needs.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams.
• Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.
• Provide support and/or conduct EHS compliance audits, including reviewing regulatory requirements, identifying gaps, documenting findings, and supporting corrective action planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Perform safety audits, assessments, and safety process improvements in areas such as: Behavior-Based Safety, Chemical & Lab Safety, Electrical Safety / NFPA 70E, Industrial Hygiene, Robotics Safety, Process Hazard Assessments, LOTO.
• Assist in developing and implementing programs for HazComm, IIPP, PSM, and more.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are in place.
• Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
