Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate in Environmental Health and Safety for the Seattle area, with flexible locations including Redmond, Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, and Edmonds. The role focuses on delivering hands-on EHS programs, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in hazardous environments.

Ideal candidates have a strong EHS background, 1+ year of relevant experience, and the ability to travel across Puget Sound.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (2 years = 1 year education).
• 1+ year of relevant experience in EHS compliance (e.g., stormwater, behavior-based safety).
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.
• Conduct EHS compliance audits, review regulatory requirements, identify gaps, document findings, and support corrective action planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality results.
• Perform safety audits, assessments, and safety process improvements (e.g., BBS, Chemical & Lab Safety, NFPA 70E, LOTO).
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are in place.
• Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
