Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Consulting Senior Associate, Environmental Health and Safety for the Seattle area, with flexibility to work from Redmond, Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, and Edmonds. You will deliver hands-on EHS support, conduct risk assessments, and help design solutions for hazards and chemical management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field (or equivalent) and 1+ year of EHS experience, with travel across Puget Sound.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience (2 years = 1 year education).
1+ year of relevant EHS compliance experience (e.g., stormwater, behavior-based safety).
Ability to travel across Puget Sound area including overnight stays or daily client site visits.
Strong understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite client support to address pressing EHS challenges.
Support and/or conduct EHS compliance audits, including reviewing regulatory requirements and documenting findings.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
Perform safety audits, assessments, and safety process improvements across various areas (e.g., BHSA, chemical safety, electrical safety, industrial hygiene, etc.).
Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
