Job summary

ERM in Seattle is seeking a Senior Consultant to advance environmental health and safety programs for diverse clients. You will deliver hands-on support, conduct risk assessments, and help implement compliant EHS strategies across industries.

The role involves field visits throughout the Puget Sound region, strong collaboration with global teams, and opportunities to contribute to risk reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (2 years education = 1 year).
• 3+ years of EHS compliance experience (e.g., stormwater, behavior-based safety).
• Ability to travel across the Puget Sound area with overnight stays.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite client support for EHS challenges.
• Conduct EHS audits, review regulatory requirements, identify gaps, and support corrective action planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Perform safety audits, assessments, and safety process improvements in areas such as: Behavior-Based Safety, Chemical & Lab Safety, Electrical Safety / NFPA70E, Industrial Hygiene, Robotics Safety, Process Hazard Assessments, LOTO.
• Assist in developing and implementing programs for HazCom, IIPP, PSM, and more.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are in place.
• Assist in managing projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule targets.
