Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a hands-on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant for Seattle, WA. This fixed-term role requires a minimum of 3 on-site days per week, 40 hours weekly, for 5 months, with possible renewal.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of EHS experience, familiarity with OSHA/EPA requirements, hazard analysis, waste management, chemical safety, and emergency response planning. A BS in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of EHS support experience with emphasis on health and safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance audits to assess client adherence to health, safety, or environmental regulations.
• Provide training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments to improve safety performance.
• Develop and implement EHS procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
• Manage tasks within scope/budget/schedule and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Build client relationships and support project managers to deliver outcomes.
