Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Consultant to support our Advisory Services team in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The role focuses on helping clients maintain safe, compliant workplaces through inspections, regulatory guidance, policy development, and safety trainings. You will also investigate incidents, support recordkeeping and contribute to business development via client engagement, leveraging a strong network and industry expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in an EHS capacity.
• Proven communication & customer service skills with strong attention to detail.
• Familiar with Northern California CUPA requirements (San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with client personnel regarding workplace safety issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Advise clients on OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Develop specific areas of occupational health and safety systems, including policies and manuals.
• Inspect machinery and equipment and other engineered safety systems.
• Measure hazards (noise, ergonomics) using calibrated equipment and collect samples as needed.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and PPE compliance assessments.
• Identify hazards and help implement control measures (ventilation, etc.).
• Investigate accidents and recommend remedial action.
• Deliver routine EHS trainings (new employee orientation, hazard communication, forklift training).
• Write reports including accident reports and OSHA recordkeeping entries.
• Support business development through networking and client engagement.
