The successful candidate will manage KPIs, liaise with OSHA, EPA and local agencies, and drive continuous improvement of the EHS program at the Pawcatuck site.

Qualifications

• Requires expert knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulation.
• Bachelor degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 5+ years in an Environmental / Safety role within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety and environmental compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local agencies.
• Lead EHS program improvements and regulatory liaison activities.
• Develop and monitor EHS KPIs and reporting for performance benchmarking.
• Oversee training programs on EHS compliance, hazardous conditions, and safety equipment.
• Ensure site-wide adherence to EHS regulations, permits, and corporate policies.
• Conduct EHS incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Implement sustainability initiatives and track resource usage and waste reduction.
• Provide support to local supervisors to ensure compliant operations.
• Develop action plans from inspections and non-conformities.
