Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an EHR Application Principal Trainer - Pharmacist to design, deliver, and optimize role-based training for our electronic health record systems. You will partner with informatics, operations, and the learning team to ensure curriculum reflects current configurations, access, and workflows across medication management processes.

The role requires pharmacist licensure, Epic/EHR experience, and a track record in developing technical training materials and delivery

Qualifications

• Design, develop, validate, and maintain role-based training curricula for EHR products.
• Collaborate with informatics, operations, and learning teams to reflect approved configurations.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and one-on-one trainings for end users and super users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application curriculum with lesson plans, scenarios, and job aids.
• Support change control and release readiness; assess training impact and update curricula.
• Analyze end-user roles, access, and workflows to inform training catalogs and assignments.
• Coordinate curriculum reviews and obtain approvals before implementation.
• Build, test, and maintain training environments in partnership with IT teams.
• Deliver training and evaluate effectiveness through feedback and assessments.
• Act as subject matter expert for application training and post-training support.
• Prepare training materials and ensure readiness for delivery across environments.
• Manage multiple deliverables and maintain documentation per IT/vendor standards.
