Job summary

Software Technology Inc. seeks an IT Project Manager to lead the EHR implementation for the Bureau of Community Health Systems, involving BCHS, BOI, and BCD.

The PM will possess senior-level expertise in EHRs, health informatics, and health IT, with a track record of large-scale project delivery and organizational change management. Required are PMP certification (5+ years), PA residency, and willingness to work in the Harrisburg office two days a week, engaging with program staff and IT teams

Qualifications

• Experience implementing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system from paper-based charts.
• PMP certification with 5+ years of project management experience.
• Reside in PA and be able to work in Harrisburg two days per week.
• Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers preferred.
• Experience with EHR/EMR, health informatics, and health IT.
• Lead large-scale health IT projects and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Familiar with PMI processes and strong interpersonal consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of an EHR for BCHS and related bureaus, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
• Plan and manage project phases, requirements, and change management activities.
• Coordinate with program office staff and IT teams to define requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure final product meets business, technical, and quality requirements.
• Direct, administer, and optimize enterprise-wide information technology initiatives of strategic importance.
