Job summary

Jackson Health System in Miami is seeking a Clinical Informatics Coordinator 3 to serve as a liaison between the IT department and clinical/business areas. You will facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts to define how the EHR and other systems will function to support clinical and business processes.

Responsibilities include guiding SMEs, promoting standardization and optimization, and acting as a conduit between IT and clinical teams to maximize system adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–7 years of related experience (as implied by the education/experience section).

Responsibilities

• Guide SMEs in problem solving and implementation of recommendations.
• Promote standardization and optimization of quality, safety and cost efficiency.
• Serve as knowledge expert on clinical/business system workflows and design methodologies.
• Act as conduit between IT and Clinical/Business System teams to maximize adoption and optimization.
• Shadow end-users to understand workflow and find inefficiencies.
• Attend meetings punctually and participate actively.
• Develop and deliver presentations to support system implementation and training.
• Routinely conduct rounds in areas of coverage as Informatics representative.
• Develop and maintain reporting of daily/weekly activities as directed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
