Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Senior Clinical Informaticist to drive clinical transformation using CIS technology. You will partner with nursing, providers, and leadership to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have Epic knowledge, clinical informatics expertise, and strong communication skills to lead initiatives across hospital systems and facilities.

Qualifications

• RN with direct patient care experience preferred.
• Epic certification or strong Epic optimization experience (ClinDoc preferred).
• Experience in clinical informatics, workflow optimization, and project management.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze workflows, solve complex problems, and drive process improvements.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical transformation through CIS technology and governance.
• Plan and assist CIS implementations and the infrastructure to support these applications.
• Identify opportunities for optimization of clinical processes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and operational leaders to implement solutions.
• Promote quality reporting and sustainability of CIS initiatives.
• Maintain communication with administrators, IS leadership, and stakeholders.
• Provide change management and educational materials for users.
