Job summary

Accanto Health is seeking a Senior EHR Analyst to own and optimize its Electronic Health Record systems. You will partner with clinical, IT, training, and vendor teams to translate needs into reliable workflows and well-tested system changes.

The role requires strong EHR expertise, behavioral health knowledge, and clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences. Salary range $70,000–$85,000 with typical 8–5 hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience supporting Avatar or another EHR system required.
• Experience in EHR administration, configuration, IT service management, QA, or business analysis is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral health, mental health, clinical workflows, and billing processes is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate with both clinical and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned EHR modules, workflows, integrations, and related applications.
• Provide Tier 3 support and escalation for production issues and complex troubleshooting.
• Monitor system activity, identify trends, resolve problems, and escalate risks to management or vendors.
• Lead design sessions and workflow reviews to support standardized clinical and operational processes.
• Define requirements, document use cases, and support effective system use with stakeholders.
• Manage enhancements, configuration changes, and bug fixes with approval tracking and production readiness.
• Plan, coordinate, and validate testing for upgrades, patches, and cross-system workflows.
• Coordinate vendor activities related to releases, patches, and service levels.
• Create and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and user guides.
