Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex EEO complaints through intake, informal counseling, resolution, and case management in the DOI tracking system.
• Assess ROIs for legal sufficiency, conduct legal research, and prepare Final Agency Decisions, appellate briefs, and settlements in complex EEO matters.
• Provide expert guidance on EEO laws and regulations to DOI leadership, supervisors, and employees and develop strategies to prevent workplace discrimination.
• Oversee implementation and compliance of EEO settlement agreements, FADs, EEOC orders, and Federal sector rulings, monitoring remedial actions and timely execution.
• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive EEO training for DOI managers, employees, and OCR practitioners on processes, sexual harassment, accommodations, accessibility, and anti-discrimination laws.
• Analyze EEO trends and lead cross-functional teams to improve program efficiency; prepare management documents and mandatory compliance reports.
