Job summary

Office of the Secretary of Transportation in Washington, DC seeks a Supervisory Equal Employment Specialist in the DOCR's EEO Complaints and Investigations Division, Compliance Branch. You will lead and coordinate the processing of discrimination complaints under federal laws, regulations, and agency policies.

Qualifications

Direct and administer the Compliance Branch and coordinate processing of individual and systemic employment discrimination cases under federal laws.
Demonstrate leadership and supervisory abilities, including appointments, promotions, reassignments and awards.
Interpret regulations, apply policies and develop policy clarifications relating to Civil Rights.

Responsibilities

Direct and administer the Compliance Branch and coordinate processing of discrimination complaints.
Provide technical guidance to staff on fact-finding, analysis, and case management for EEO counseling, compliance, hearings and appeals.
Develop evaluation systems and reports to monitor program status and improve operations.
