UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform a range of neurodiagnostic procedures under supervision, with progression toward advanced competencies. The role includes training to obtain ABRET registry credentials within 18 months, maintaining equipment, and supporting high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities include routine EEGs, ICU EEGs, EPs, NCV testing, EMG assistance, and on-call coverage.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of college education preferred but not required.
• CAHEEP approved ENT training program is highly desirable.
• Candidate must hold at least one END modality registry (REEGT, REPT, RNCST, RPSGT). CLTM/CNIM desirable.
• Leadership potential and ability to work independently are valued.
• Lifelong learning and comfort with registry processes are expected.

Mansioni

• Perform Neurodiagnostic procedures (EEG, ICU EEG, EMU, EP, NCV) as trained.
• Assist with EMG when needed and maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety and infection control during patient testing.
• Identify and manage patient readiness and test ordering.
• Adhere to ABRET standards and hospital policies; assist in education of staff.
• On-call duties as required by hospital operations.

Formazione

High School graduate

2–4 years college preferred

CAHEEP approved ENT training program

One END modality registry (REEGT, REPT, RNCST, RPSGT)

CLTM and/or CNIM desirable
