Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician to maintain EEG equipment, perform procedures, and ensure accurate setup for patient testing according to ACNS guidelines.

You will document demographics, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Minimum one year of neurodiagnostics experience and BLS are required, with day shift duties and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in the 10-20 system of measurement.
• General knowledge of EEG procedures and equipment.
• Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond to abnormalities.
• Ability to recognize artifact and replace electrodes as needed.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplies and equipment for patient care and ensure instruments are in good working order.
• Prepare patients for testing and record demographic information accurately.
• Perform EEG procedures and ensure proper setup per ACNS guidelines.
• Document and charge for procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
