Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Santa Barbara, CA, seeks an Electrical Engineering Technology Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering cutting-edge digital, analog and power sensor electronics for defense programs.

You will recruit, mentor and evaluate engineers, enforce engineering standards, and coordinate with systems, software and manufacturing to ensure program success while driving technical excellence and affordable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior or managerial role.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in defense or aerospace programs.
• Expertise in digital, analog and power design and electronic hardware development from packages to full systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional management for the electrical engineering team: recruitment, career development, performance assessments, salary planning and recognition.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for electrical design across digital, analog and power domains.
• Drive technical excellence and program execution by enforcing standards and guiding design assurance plans.
• Support IMS planning, Basis of Estimate generation, and risk management.
• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering continuous skill growth and a customer-focused delivery mindset.
