Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technology Manager in Santa Barbara, CA. You will provide functional and technical leadership for a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team, guiding recruitment, career development and performance while enforcing EPM and Design Assurance standards to deliver sensor solutions.

You will lead design assurance, IMS planning, BOE generation, and cross-functional integration with systems, software, test and manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior or managerial role
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in defense or aerospace programs
Expertise in electronic design (digital, analog, power) and hardware development across packages, cards, harnesses, and systems
U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Provide functional and technical leadership for a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team
Oversee recruitment, career development and performance
Enforce EPM and Design Assurance standards to drive program execution
Support IMS planning and BOE generation
Mentor engineers and ensure a customer-focused delivery mindset
Oversee design assurance activities and ensure quality and safety compliance
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into sensor systems
Manage technical risk and conduct trade studies
