Job summary

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and direction of PMCM activities for education sector projects in California.

The role may supervise project staff and requires strong knowledge of cost, schedule, and contract administration. Responsibilities include managing owner relations, developing procedures, ensuring compliance with drawings and specs, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 9+ years of experience as a construction Project Manager.
• 5+ years working on DSA public education projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison for owner and partner entities.
• Develops project procedures and documentation with Owner.
• Ensures contracts, drawings, and specs meet requirements.
• Coordinates with owner, architects, engineers and contractors.
• Leads project meetings and tracks statuses.
• Oversees safety compliance and bid phase services.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
