Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; exceptions for extensive CM experience.
• Minimum 3 years as Assistant Construction Manager.
• Experience on CA public-sector projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of project controls/scheduling and construction principles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CM systems.
• CMIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite leadership for public-sector projects.
• Review contracts, drawings, estimates and specs for compliance.
• Assist with oversight of construction progress.
• Prepare daily reports documenting activities and site conditions.
• Review RFIs and submittals; track processing.
• Coordinate activities of contractors, engineers and designers.
• Support project controls, cost, schedule and performance requirements.
• Conduct project meetings and document action items.
• Ensure safety, adherence to requirements, and turnover readiness.
• Assist with project closeout and documentation for turnover.
