Job summary

Vanir is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Hayward, CA to oversee planning, coordination and direction for PMCM activities in the Education sector. You will supervise staff and coordinate owners, designers and contractors to meet scope, cost and schedule goals.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in construction PM, 5+ years on DSA public education projects, and strong knowledge of project controls, cost and scheduling. Registration as an Architect or PE is preferred; CCM preferred.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience as a construction Project Manager.
• 5+ years working on DSA public education projects.
• Advanced knowledge of project development, design-phase management, cost, scheduling, and documentation.
• Experience with Prolog, Primavera and MS Office.
• Architect or PE registration preferred; CCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary liaison for owner and partner entities for contracts, design, systems and deliverables.
• Develop project procedures and documentation; advise Owner on design and contracts.
• Ensure contracts, drawings, estimates and specs meet project requirements.
• Manage data, communications, and approvals among owner, architects, engineers and related parties.
• Lead project meetings and track statuses; coordinate CM staff and contractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and manage bid phase services as needed.
