Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Education and Outreach Specialist to lead statewide outreach, education, and engagement for PICS services. You will develop presentations, webinars, and resources, build partnerships, and coordinate enrollment guidance for diverse stakeholders.

Work in a hybrid role across Minnesota, focusing on community partnerships, referrals, and participant engagement while supporting organizational growth and service awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, education, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in Minnesota Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), human services, outreach, education, partnership development, or community engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain productive relationships with prospective service users, participants, families, community organizations, lead agencies, referral partners, program leaders, and internal teams.
• Public-speaking and presentation skills with experience delivering engaging and accessible presentations, webinars, and educational training to diverse audiences.
• Experience developing clear, high-quality educational materials, including presentations, toolkits, guides, training materials, and informational resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain educational resources, presentations, webinars, training materials, toolkits, guides, and informational content for participants, representatives, workers, community partners, and prospective service users.
• Identify, coordinate, and schedule speaking engagements, conference presentations, and other educational opportunities.
• Deliver training and educational presentations and webinars to educate community partners and prospective service users about HCBS and PICS services.
• Review and update educational materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with current program rules and best practices.
• Track training participation, collect feedback, and evaluate outcomes to support continuous improvement.
