Job summary

PM2CM, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee pre-construction activities for Los Angeles Unified School District projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, directing AFDMs, Design Managers, and design professionals to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a track record in large-scale construction, strong leadership, and exceptional communication. Collaboration with departments, agencies, and stakeholders will be essential to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in construction; capital projects.
• Minimum 5 years in educational facility construction or public works.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate pre-construction activities for new and modernization projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget for multiple projects.
• Resolve complex planning, design, and construction-related issues.
• Lead AFDMs, DMs, and design professionals; monitor performance.
• Report project budget, schedule, and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with utility and government agencies to advance progress.
• Assist with A/E contracts, bid planning, and contract administration.
• Provide direction on project schedules, cost control, and quality control.
