Job summary

MPI in Southern California seeks a tenured Senior Project Manager to lead a division on LAUSD/DSA projects. You will develop and monitor schedules, manage buyouts with trade partners, and coordinate BIM with architects and engineers to control cost, scope, and quality.

You will communicate status to clients and leadership, conduct weekly meetings, oversee invoicing and payments, and drive safety and change management. This role offers strong bonus potential and growth with a premier GC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/Arch or equivalent.
• 5+ years project management experience.
• LAUSD/DSA project experience required.
• Strong leadership, client management and goal setting.
• Motivated to grow a company and lead.
• Estimating experience is a plus.
• Experience with Cost+, negotiated work, MS Project, and Procore.
• CPM scheduling and planning.
• Estimate change orders and pay apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and maintain a project schedule using lean principles.
• Lead buyout with trade partners and 3rd party vendors within budget.
• Coordinate BIM with architects and engineers, resolve conflicts.
• Communicate project status to client and leadership with detailed reports.
• Conduct weekly OAC meetings and provide required reports.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with trades, vendors and key personnel.
• Provide monthly invoices and secure timely payments to partners.
• Work with client, architect and engineers on change in scope and impacts.
• Oversee inspections and close out using punch list protocols.
• Develop and enforce project safety plan with team.
