Job summary

DEFTEC Corporation seeks a Senior Contractor Support to Analyze Emerging and Disruptive Technologies to identify and catalogue EDTs and assess adoption opportunities in support of the Warfare Development Agenda. You will coordinate input to EDT activities and support NATO planning, training, and education efforts, influencing EDT adoption to address capability shortfalls.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, active NATO Secret clearance, and experience in analyzing S&T

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4 years post-related experience (or 6 years alternate in lieu of degree).
Active NATO Secret Security Clearance.
Two years’ experience in acquisition, assembly and interpretation of research & technology information.
Knowledge of S&T information sources in defense-related environments.
Experience interpreting future S&T/EDT information for military applications.
Proficiency with PC office automation tools.

Responsibilities

Contribute to identification and cataloguing of EDTs.
Contribute to sustained assessment of EDT implications and adoption opportunities.
Promote increased experimentation of EDT-based solutions.
Provide input to programming of EDT activities within ACT S&T POW.
Influence and exploit EDTs addressing capability shortfalls.
Provide input to strategic foresight analyses and NDPP-related planning.
Educate HQ SACT staff on EDT opportunities and risks.
Organize and manage a knowledge base on EDT adoption for Warfare Development.
