CGS Federal in Miami, FL seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technician to support the legal division. The role focuses on managing eDiscovery workflows, conducting virus scans, loading productions into Relativity, and ensuring data integrity under tight deadlines for a federal agency.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of eDiscovery experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. U.S. citizenship is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience in compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to support project task requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree. Three years of additional, directly relevant work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of information resources.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks as defined in the Duties & Responsibilities above.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsabilités

• Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest the cover letter and provide a brief description of the production.
• Call the producing party to obtain a password if the media is encrypted and no password is provided.
• Determine if the cover letter contains substantive information for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan the production off-network using multiple protection tools.
• Follow protocol to address issues or reject the production if needed.
• Copy the production to the Agency's network once clean.
• Handle documents per protocol (e.g., whistleblower, RFPA, MOUs, international, BSA, audio files, transcripts).
• Analyze productions to determine processing type and protocol.
• Analyze data to ensure completeness.
• If load-ready, verify all components present; otherwise inform the Litigation Support Specialist.
• Monitor incoming productions via email and via the Agency FTP site.
• Scan and OCR small paper documents for Relativity loading.
• Coordinate off-site scanning for multi-box paper productions.
