Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join the Legal team in Chantilly, VA. This full-time executive-level role requires deep expertise in eDiscovery, RELATIVITY, and complex litigation support, with responsibilities spanning policy, technology, and process improvement.

You will monitor regulations, advise on ESI handling, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders while supporting FBI-related matters. This position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of eDiscovery and litigation support experience.
• Minimum 3 years on major litigation support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• BS/BA or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation and their impact on FBI Discovery policies.
• Monitor the industry to apply new technology or best practices to FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Ensure new functionality delivers required business capabilities.
• Provide guidance on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI.
• Monitor daily legal hold reports to ensure proper preservation of material.
• Update or create standard operating procedures for the ETA role.
• Provide a strong technical and legal background on eDiscovery tools and processes.
