Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join our Legal team in a fast-paced environment. You will support FBI Discovery, preserve and process ESI, and advise on litigation and FOIA requests.

The role requires a strong technical and legal foundation, experience with Relativity, and the ability to obtain a US government security clearance. This full-time position is based in the Atlanta area and offers professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.
3 years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment.
Experience with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial).
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).

Responsibilities

Monitor changes to laws that impact civil and criminal litigation to determine their impact on FBI Discovery policies and procedures.
Monitor the commercial industry to determine how new technology or best practices can be applied to improve FBI Discovery.
Verify that proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
Conduct testing of system upgrades or patches prior to release.
Verify proposed solutions deliver new functional capabilities addressing existing requirements.
Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil litigation, selected criminal matters, FOIA and Congressional requests.
Monitor daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensure proper preservation of material subject to legal hold requirements.
Update and/or create SOPs for the ETA role.
Provide strong technical background on electronic discovery applications and strong legal background and expertise on the electronic discovery applications.
