Job summary

CGS Federal seeks a Senior eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join our Legal team in Fairfax, VA. You will support civil, criminal, FOIA, and Congressional matters by advising on preservation, collection, and production of ESI using FBI tools and processes.

The role demands hands-on Relativity experience, strong communication with technical and legal stakeholders, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, government-focused environment. U.S. citizenship and security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience.
• 3 years on major litigation support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Familiar with EDRM processes (File to Trial).
• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain security clearance.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent; JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor laws impacting civil and criminal litigation to FBI Discovery policies.
• Evaluate new technology to improve FBI Discovery practices.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Ensure solutions deliver new functional capabilities.
• Advise on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing and producing ESI.
• Monitor legal hold custodians and preserve material.
• Update or create ETA SOPs.
• Provide strong technical and legal background on eDiscovery tools.
