Elevate Legal Talent is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Lead to oversee complex discovery matters for a global enterprise, guiding projects across the EDRM lifecycle. You will mentor the eDiscovery team, evaluate technology solutions (including Microsoft Purview), and ensure timely resolution of discovery

Elevate is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Lead to support a global enterprise organization in managing complex discovery matters across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).

This role is ideal for an experienced eDiscovery professional who can independently lead discovery initiatives, provide operational guidance, solve complex technical and workflow challenges, and support evolving enterprise discovery programs. The successful candidate will partner closely with legal, compliance, IT, and business stakeholders to develop defensible discovery strategies, support enterprise eDiscovery operations, evaluate technology solutions, and drive successful outcomes across the full discovery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support complex eDiscovery matters across the EDRM, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, and production.
• Develop and support defensible scoping, preservation, collection, and discovery approaches in collaboration with legal, IT, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide senior-level support for enterprise eDiscovery programs, operations, and related workflows.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to other members of the eDiscovery team while supporting cross-functional initiatives as needed.
• Assist in evaluating integrations and connectivity between discovery platforms and enterprise data sources.
• Provide strategic input and subject matter expertise as the organization evaluates and expands its use of Microsoft Purview.
• Troubleshoot operational and technical issues and drive timely resolution of discovery-related challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior-level experience supporting complex enterprise eDiscovery matters or programs.
• Strong working knowledge of the full Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise eDiscovery platforms and discovery workflows.
• Strong understanding of legal hold, preservation, collection, review, and downstream discovery processes.
• Exceptional critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical and discovery-related concepts to legal, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound, defensible decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience with Exterro, including legal hold and eDiscovery workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview eDiscovery capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with FTK or comparable forensic collection technologies.
• Experience supporting hybrid SaaS and on-premises discovery environments.
• Knowledge of discovery platform integrations and enterprise data-source connectivity.
