Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand workflows, constraints, and compliance requirements.
• Document current roles, responsibilities and decision-making authority; analyze cross-functional dependencies and escalation points.
• Identify system and data sources contributing data to discovery; validate integrations, access controls, audit logging, and chain-of-custody.
• Review legal hold policies, retention schedules, data governance standards and privacy requirements; review SOPs for matter intake, preservation, collection, processing, review and production.
• Document the current end-to-end eDiscovery lifecycle; define target workflows aligned to legal, compliance, and privacy requirements.
• Develop timelines for short-, mid-, and long-term improvements with resource needs and estimated costs.
• Assess tools; recommend enhancements and new toolsets for preservation and collections; ensure FedRAMP and FCA cybersecurity compliance for cloud solutions.
• Prepare deployment documentation to help FCA staff plan and allocate resources.
• Draft SOPs and system-specific playbooks; create operational templates; conduct stakeholder reviews for validation.
