Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney in Washington, DC to provide US-qualified legal guidance on privilege, disclosure obligations, and risk management within eDiscovery strategies for litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.

The role requires a US-qualified attorney with at least ten years of post-qualification experience, deep familiarity with the eDiscovery lifecycle, and hands-on experience with Relativity and analytics/TAR tools.

Qualifications

• US-qualified attorney with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience advising on eDiscovery, reviews, and investigations.
• Strong understanding of the e-discovery lifecycle and applicable rules.
• Experience with leading eDiscovery platforms like Relativity.
• Familiarity with cross-border data privacy issues is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and sign-off on eDiscovery strategies.
• Coordinate with the eDiscovery team to integrate legal input.
• Plan and execute document workflows.
• Ensure review and production strategies meet legal requirements.
• Liaise with partners, clients, and vendors for reviews.
• Advise on legal defensibility of eDiscovery technologies.
• Assist with review planning and quality control.
• Prepare updates and reports for internal teams and clients.
• Advise on compliance in provider and client relationships.
• Contribute to internal best practices and training.
• Monitor developments in eDiscovery and share insights.
