Job summary

Linklaters in the United States seeks a senior US-qualified lawyer to provide legal advice on privilege, disclosure obligations and risk within litigation, investigations and regulatory matters. You will work with the eDiscovery team on strategy.

You will coordinate closely with the team to ensure legal input is integrated into preservation, collection, review and production workflows, and you will sign-off on protocols ensuring proportionality and defensibility.

Qualifications

• US-qualified lawyer with at least ten years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience advising on eDiscovery, reviews, productions and investigations.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery lifecycle and cross-border data/privacy matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide US-qualified legal advice and sign-off on privilege, disclosure obligations and risk within eDiscovery strategies.
• Coordinate with the eDiscovery team to integrate legal input into strategies, best-practice and vendor management.
• Support matter teams in planning/document preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis and production workflows.
• Sign-off on review and production protocols, ensuring proportionality and cost-efficiency.
• Advise on defensibility of review tools and technology-assisted review used by the team.
