Job summary

CGS seeks an eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join our Legal department in Washington, D.C. The role supports civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and Congressional inquiries by using enterprise eDiscovery tools and best practices.

The ideal candidate has deep eDiscovery experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are preferred, with a BS/BA or JD highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience
• 3 years of progressive responsibility on major lit support projects
• 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with eDiscovery teams and business leaders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain security clearance (active preferred)
• BS/BA or equivalent; JD highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and inquiries.
• Serve as the expert technical user of eDiscovery applications (EV, DA, LHMT, Veritas).
• Develop discovery plans with search parameters (date range, keywords, custodians).
• Coordinate electronic discovery collection across FBI IT systems per the plan.
• Ensure Bates numbering, load files, and production quality; manage data inputs in review platforms.
• Provide training and technical assistance to attorneys, paralegals, and other users.
