Job summary
Clearwaters is seeking a Senior EDI MUMPS Developer to support the VA in development, maintenance, integration, testing, and production support of critical healthcare applications within a legacy MUMPS/InterSystems Caché environment.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software development experience, strong MUMPS/Caché expertise, and experience with VA systems such as VistA and FileMan, HL7/FHIR, and EDI transactions including 278 and 275.Attachments.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust suitability
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong MUMPS/InterSystems Caché expertise
- Experience with VA systems (VistA, FileMan) and healthcare standards HL7/FHIR
- Experience with EDI transactions (278 Prior Authorization, 275 Attachments)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software in legacy MUMPS/Caché environment
- Coding, unit testing, debugging for system enhancements
- Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into solutions
- Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Participate in Beta (IOC) testing with medical centers and resolve issues
- Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting
- Document technical designs, processes, and system behavior
- Work independently and in cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
