Job summary

Luxoft seeks a Senior Application Delivery & Edge Security Engineer to support enterprise delivery, network security, and edge platforms across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, security, resiliency, and onboarding across load balancer, WAF, CDN, DNS, and edge security technologies.

Responsibilities include configuring and supporting the platforms, onboarding migrations, traffic management, and incident response.

Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise experience supporting application delivery controllers and edge platforms such as F5, A10, AVI, Citrix, Cloudflare, or Akamai.
Strong hands-on knowledge of WAF, CDN, load balancing, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing, switching, and application security, including OWASP Top Ten mitigations.
Experience supporting and securing cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Ability to troubleshoot complex application delivery and security issues across Layers 1–7 and support production incidents within defined SLAs.
Expected to maintain at least 90% weekly usage of enterprise-approved AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support application delivery controllers, WAF, CDN, and edge security platforms across on-prem and cloud.
Support onboarding, migrations, traffic management, resiliency, and capacity planning.
Partner with network, security, and application teams to implement consistent security and operational controls.
Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–7 issues involving DNS, TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, load balancing, WAF, and CDN traffic flows.
Follow security best practices, change controls, and platform policies; maintain runbooks and remediation plans.
Participate in on-call support, incident response, and off-hours maintenance windows.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers; promote use of AI tools to boost productivity.
