Job summary

EY seeks an experienced WAF & Internet Ingress and Edge Manager to lead operational delivery for enterprise application protection, load balancing, ingress, traffic management, and edge connectivity services. This service ownership role guides engineers, manages incident response, governance, lifecycle planning, and automation adoption across cross-functional teams in a hybrid US environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in WAF, application delivery, load balancing, cloud networking, edge security, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams, service delivery, operations, or platform management.
• Strong knowledge of WAF policy operations, CDN, bot and DDoS controls, and IaC tooling.
• Excellent customer engagement, leadership, communication, risk management, and decision-making skills.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, security, and vendor teams in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational delivery for WAF and Internet Ingress & Edge services.
• Lead staffing, on-call coverage, skills development, and succession planning.
• Drive incident response, escalation, and post-incident reviews with cross-team coordination.
• Manage service governance, SLA/KPI tracking, and lifecycle planning across platforms.
• Promote automation, runbooks, and standard work to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate application onboarding, traffic management, and secure edge exposure.
