Job summary

Nexperia's Integrated Circuit Solutions group seeks an experienced EDA Design Engineer to lead the EDA design environment for analog and mixed-signal ICs. The role focuses on modernizing workflows, optimizing compute use, and ensuring reliable tape-out and DFM compliance.

The position requires strong communication, a senior technical contributor mindset, and the ability to collaborate across global teams to influence strategy, topology, and core IP development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EDA experience in a semiconductor environment.
• Experience in analog circuit design and debugging analog simulations.
• Strong understanding of analog and power management circuit design principles.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as Cadence or Spice.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve the IC EDA design environment.
• Guide design teams on efficient use of compute resources.
• Provide tool installation, licensing support and data management.
• Advocate for modern EDA best practices and cross-train IC designers.
• Develop methodologies for IC tape-out to meet DFM and foundry requirements.
• Collaborate with EDA colleagues internationally.
