Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Data Analyst within the Quality Abstraction department. This full-time fully remote role supports clinical and operational data projects across states, collaborating to define data needs and analytic approaches.

Responsibilities include developing population definitions, validating complex datasets, creating BI reports, and educating clients on data concepts and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field or RN is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a health-related field.
• Experience with healthcare data strongly preferred.
• Experience with ECQM and quality metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with limited supervision.
• Leads evaluation of service requests to clarify business and technical issues.
• Develops analytic approaches in collaboration with the client.
• Develops population definitions to meet project needs.
• Creates simple to complex BI reports for management.
