Job summary

Tendo is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Analyst to identify operational improvement opportunities through analytics that help customers meet financial, quality, and operational goals. This role requires deep familiarity with inpatient workflows and how care is documented in the EHR, including flowsheets, templates, order sets, clinical notes, ADT, bed moves, results, and charge capture.

• Must have 5+ years of experience in clinical data analytics in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements, conduct data sourcing, cleaning, and quality assurance of data output.
• Build, automate, and maintain data extracts, reports, dashboards, and self-service products.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists in exploring operational improvement opportunities and creation of predictive models and applications.
• Act as a single point of contact and support the needs of the Operations Teams of customers.
• Translate inpatient clinical documentation into defined, reproducible measures.
• Validate metric logic against frontline workflow with stakeholders across nursing and informatics.
• Contribute to shared standards for SQL, version control, and report development.
• Monitor production reports and pipelines for data quality issues and lead root cause analysis and remediation.
• Support performance improvement work such as length of stay, throughput, capacity, and care variation.
