L’AGENCE in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to own ecommerce merchandising strategy, from seasonal launches to daily product presentation. You’ll balance inventory-driven marketing with catalog quality, navigation, and conversion goals.

Reports to the director of ecommerce and guides the Ecommerce Coordinator. 5+ years in ecommerce merchandising and strong analytics are required, with Shopify experience preferred. This is a full-time on-site role in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ecommerce merchandising or digital merchandising experience, preferably in fashion or apparel.
• Strong analytical skills with sales, inventory, and web analytics data (Excel, Looker, or similar).
• Experience with a product information or catalog system and an ecommerce platform such as Shopify.
• Working knowledge of inventory planning, sell-through, and markdown strategy.
• Strong written communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute ecommerce launches for seasonal collections and capsule drops in partnership with design, planning, and merchandising teams.
• Build integrated campaign strategies with marketing and creative to highlight product stories and drive sales.
• Own the ecommerce merchandising calendar and align it with inventory flow and promotions.
• Monitor inventory and sell-through and recommend placements, promotions, and markdown actions to optimize sell-through.
• Set onsite merchandising strategy for homepage, category pages, navigation, filters, and product placement.
• Analyze site, search, and product performance to improve navigation, search results, conversion, and AOV.
• Define standards for product setup, including attributes, imagery, pricing, and categorization; review launch readiness.
• Brief creative teams on digital assets needed for launches, homepage updates, emails, and paid media.
• Direct product storytelling for site and email in partnership with marketing.
• Report on campaign and category performance with recommendations to improve conversion and margins.
• Benchmark competitor sites and promotions to inform strategy.
• Serve as liaison between ecommerce, design, marketing, planning, and operations to keep launches on time.
• Advise on UX upgrades to drive conversion and AOV, like category entry points on PLP.
