Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a clinical testing environment.
• ARDMS/RDCS accreditation or eligible; BLS certification required.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Four years of echocardiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram diagnostics from provider orders and document in EMR.
• Clarify orders and goals of Rx; support various echo tests (M-mode, 2D, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, stress echo).
• Place and remove peripheral IV for contrast agent administration per protocol.
• Troubleshoot echo equipment and ensure proper function before patient use.
• Maintain exam rooms and inventory; adhere to confidentiality and department policies.
