Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform comprehensive echo studies, including stress echo, and to support the cardiology team. You will work under the Lead Cardiac Sonographer and Clinical Manager to ensure accurate data and documentation.

The role requires ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS eligibility, BLS certification, and at least one year of echo experience. You will engage with diverse patients and operate within regulatory and department policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in echocardiography or related field with registry eligibility.
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation or eligible; BLS required.
• At least 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to varied clinical settings and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs all testing procedures in echocardiography including m-mode, 2D, spectral Doppler and color Doppler.
• Performs diagnostic exercise/pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
• Ensures a safe testing environment in daily operations.
• Documents results in medical records and department logs.
• Communicates effectively with colleagues and patients to promote teamwork.
