Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in hospital and outpatient settings. You will manage patient care, documentation, and equipment readiness under supervision of the Clinical Manager and department Leads.

Experience in echocardiography, ARDMS/RDCS certification, and a strong attention to detail are essential for accurate testing and timely reporting in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in clinical testing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ARDMS/RDCS accreditation or accreditation eligible and BLS certification required.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Four years of echocardiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram tests including m-mode, 2D, spectral Doppler, and stress echocardiograms.
• Process orders via EMR and document results per policy.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Respond to STAT echo calls and notify physicians as needed.
• Maintain testing rooms and supply stock.
