Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Experienced in Transthoracic (M-mode, 2-D and 3D echocardiography, Strain, Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echo and Contrast Enhancement procedures.
• Able to use Philips or other comparable ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to assist in performance of Echocardiography procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs transthoracic, transesophageal, Stress Echo and proficient with echo contrast enhancement and Strain.
• Utilizes knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology to optimize studies.
• Performs Cardiac echo studies in accordance with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission standards.
• Prepares patients for all exams.
• Enters preliminary technical findings into McKesson CPACS Echo report.
• Maintains department records and Secures PHI.
• Orders supplies and assists with scheduling.
• Prepares patient room and maintains equipment cleanliness.
• Ability to perform mobile echocardiography.
