Qualifications

• Associate degree or echocardiography program completed or equivalent clinical experience with registry eligibility.
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS accreditation or eligibility for accreditation.
• AHA BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiography procedures including diagnostic m-mode, 2D, spectral and color Doppler.
• Conducts stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) as directed by physicians.
• Ensures accurate documentation in EHR and department logs; communicates findings to reading physicians.
• Maintains safe testing environment, participates in quality improvement, and supports training of new staff.
