Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Echocardiographer for a part-time role in the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab. You will perform Echo, Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Doppler studies, supporting EP, Cath Lab, OR and ICU teams and bedside patients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, 3 years of echo experience, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology required; high school with Echo tech experience acceptable.
• 3 years echo experience required.
• ARDMS/RDCS/RCS registry within 12 months of hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
• Perform Doppler ultrasound.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside.
