Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an Echocardiographer to perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Doppler ultrasound. You will work across the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR and ICU, and at patients’ bedsides.

Required education includes a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology (or high school diploma with echo tech experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or related field, with eligibility for required licensure.
• Echo tech experience may substitute education.
• ARDMS, RDCS or RCS certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Perform Doppler ultrasound studies.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and at patient bedside.
