Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer to perform Echo, Stress Echo, TEE, and Doppler studies. You will work across the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR and ICU, including bedside patient care.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Education options include a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, or a high school diploma with Echo Tech experience in lieu of formal education.

Position Overview:

Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and willalso work with patients at the bedside. 3 years of experience required

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.

• Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes

License and Certifications:

• Basic Life SupportRequired

• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $48.06 - $73.51 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
